My Journey Into Blockchain Development

Just like the proverb goes that “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. My Journey into the Software Development world Started officially in 2020 with AWS Re/Start program organized by EdoJobs where I got introduced to Cloud Computing, Networking Fundamentals and Security practices.

Writing my first line of code “Hello world” in python gave me some beautiful chills that i would love to experience more often. And being fascinated by the vast amount of possibilities that can be achieved with Technology. I made a conscious decision to face this path and give all it takes to make it work.

Moving on after the program I delved into Frontend Development learning Html, CSS and JavaScript. While learning this I figured out that I am drawn to aesthetics and drawn into the intricacies involved in building products that users love, I delve into Ui/Ux Design exploring areas such as user research, Empathy Mapping, Ui Design and a whole lot of amazing things.

While making some research I stumbled upon an article on Blockchain and was amazed by the new level of possibilities attainable with this technology which promotes Decentralization, Ownership and preventing censorship.

It just dawned on me that the time has come to combine all the pieces together and leverage my experience and build on Web3. And my journey to Blockchain Development Officially started in January 2022.

It's been 8weeks of intense learning to build on the Ethereum Blockchain exploring Solidity, Smart contracts, Evm etc. And I can say yes I have found the path for me and am so living these.

I will be sharing some of my learning experiences in a series of posts to come afterwards and how I got into a 16 weeks Blockchain Development program with Web3bridge.
